Summer 2011 Has Come to an End

Andrea Merritt - Childcare Director

Sep 06, 2011

Summer vacation is over and parents AND kids are ready to get back to a regular routine. Homework and after school activities can make getting YOUR workout in even more of a challenge. Helping your child find something to do at the club that is just for them can ease that transition. All Sportsclub locations have special activities just for kids as well as some things you can do together.

-Try one of Sportsclub Simpsonville’s FIT Kids activities – fun, 30 minute classes for kids age 5 – 13. They are complimentary with paid childcare fees or a Family Membership.

-Check out Sportsclub Five Forks Kinesis for Kids.

-Enroll your child in Sportsclub Kids After School program.

-Check out the Open Court times on our Five Forks or Greenville basketball courts.

-Discover your inner fish at our Five Forks or Greenville swimming pools.

-Check out racquetball. Kids Clinics are a great way to find out about the sport.

-Register for YOUTH EXPERIENCE, a class designed to get 11 – 13 year olds ready to work out.

As you can see, there are MANY great classes, programs and activities that will help keep your kids busy and active. If you have questions about any of the activities above, please feel free to contact me at amerritt@sportsclubsc.com

Summer Vacation - Childcare at Sportsclub

Kids can seem unstoppable – running, spinning, leaping, and climbing at every opportunity. Their desire to move, move, move makes this a great time to cultivate fitness habits that will last.

With summer upon us and kids spending more time at home it’s easy to get caught in the pitfalls of TV, movies and video games. Here are some things your kids can do to keep them active and fit this season as well as some things you can do together.

-Try one of Sportsclub’s FIT Kids activities – fun, 30 minute classes for kids age 5 – 13. Classes will be held at all three locations and begin the week of June 13th. They are complimentary with paid childcare fees or a Family Membership.

-Check out Sportsclub Five Forks Kinesis for Kids.

-Try one of Greenville or Five Forks Specialty Camps….Soccer, Tennis, Swimming, oh my!!

As you can see, there are MANY great classes, programs and activities that will help keep your kids busy and active this summer. If you have questions about any of the activities above, please feel free to contact me at amerritt@sportsclubsc.com

Let’s put a little ‘SPRING’ in our step!!

Andrea Merritt - Childcare Director

Mar 16, 2011

Finally, winter is behind us.  Warm days and longer nights are in our sights.  What a great opportunity to get healthy and make the most of those beautiful, warm weather activities.

Whether you're a regular exerciser of just getting started with a new routine, one thing most parents have in common is what to do with the kids.  Here at Sportsclub we take that to heart and offer Childcare 7 days a week at all three locations.  Our friendly staff is hand picked for their love of children and their desire to help others achieve their health and fitness goals.

In addition to our regular Childcare program we also offer Mother's Morning Out as well as Parent's Night Out.

If you have any questions about any of our childcare programs or activities, please feel free to contact me at amerrit@sportsclubsc.com

Hope you see you at the Club soon!

Happy New Year Sportsclub Families!

Andrea Merritt - Childcare and Special Events Director

Jan 14, 2011

With the holiday season behind us, it’s time to focus on making 2011 great for ourselves and our families.

Sportsclub’s Parent’s Night Out is a great opportunity to refresh and renew yourself while the kids have a special evening planned just for them.

Parent’s Night Out (PNO) takes place three Friday’s per month and rotates between Sportsclub locations. From 5:30 – 9:30pm your children (age 6 months through 13 years) are cared for by our friendly and loving staff. Each PNO has a special theme, pizza dinner, craft or activity and movie. While the kids are with us, you are free to enjoy a quiet dinner out, some peaceful, kid-free shopping or even a movie. What a wonderful way to give the whole family something special!

Our PNO schedule is:

Sportsclub Greenville – 2nd Friday of each month

Sportsclub Simpsonville – 3rd Friday of each month

Sportsclub Five Forks – 4th Friday of each month

PNO is for children of Sportsclub Members and certain fees do apply.

If you have questions about our Parent’s Night Out program or any of our Childcare programs or activities, please feel free to contact me at amerritt@sportsclubsc.com
